Who are we?
The HQ Shared Support Hub is a new unit in HQ which is being set up with the purpose of improving support service delivery to units and departments implementing grants from HQ. The hub will provide operational grants management and finance support to implementing units in DK Integration, Department for Strategy, Programme and Learning (SPL) and The Stand-By Roster.
About the job
In the Shared Support Hub we support a wide range of programmatic teams with finance and grants management tasks. So, if you’re eager to learn about our different programmes and learn a broad variety of skills, this is the position for you. Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Daily posting of journal entries and other ad-hoc bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with budget preparation – project budgets, master budget and annual budgets
- Ensure data and transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system
- Assist with annual and project audits
- Support units with resource scheduling in DRC Dynamics (assigning resources to the correct projects and budget lines)
